Although having mediocre programming and art skills, by teaming up with @spicy_chicken and @pixeloverload I use concept creation skills, content creation, and creativity to assist with the making of mechanics and story. I've worked almost exclusively worked with Spicy Chicken and Pixel Overload but for anyone looking for ideas, level design, or any non-programming roles for a game, please give me a try.
Do you also make games and want to collaborate with me or Spicy Chicken and Pixel Overload? Contact me on my discord: Foxyboi#7042 and we might be able to make a fun game :)
Elevating tensions
My participation in elevating tensions was what I usually offer during short game jams; concept creation, ideation for mechanics and combat + weapon design. However I also tried both digital sound effect creation and recording or sound effects in the game jam for this game. I also did some voice acting however it was all just grunts to match the game style.
Color factory
In color factory I show off my strongest point which is puzzle game mechanics and level design. Due to rushing not all puzzles I created were included however the later levels in the game jam version of this game still effectively show off my puzzle creation skills. From the comments on the game and from play testers I have seen that the puzzles effectively stumped players but kept them engaged by making them think.
Fishy business
Dreaming up and creating mechanics based around the concept of being an exotic Japanese chef who uses unwieldy cutting tools was my main contribution. Also my fever dream-like idea was very odd, especially considering it was for 7drl (7 day rogue-like), my creation of content for the weapons, abilities, and enemies made it work effectively. In the end my team of 3 had made a rogue-like which stood out and created a new interesting way to make rogue-likes; not fighting enemies but instead cooking food.
